Hyperspace Arcade Entertainment is proud to present perhaps the most exhausting arcade video game in history - Atari's Football!
Until the end of the football season that year, this 1978 Atari release was quarter-for-quarter as popular as the legendary Space Invaders, as players would work up a considerable sweat choosing from various plays on offense and defense to beat the other player. This game was also historical for introducing the trackball controller, used in popular games throughout time since, including Missile Command, Centipede, Marble Madness, Capcom Bowling, Golden Tee, and Silver Strike Bowling!
This machine has been given a treatment like only Hyperspace Arcade Entertainment can do.
* Totally Rebuilt Monitor! - The Wells Garnder 1001 black and white monitor has been cleaned and rebuilt with new capacitors and solder joints, and carefully adjusted for the best picture possible. It has almost no screen burn at all, very, very rare for a black and white monitor, especially in a game as popular as this one was.
* Rebuilt Power Supply - The main filter cap has been replaced with a brand new modern retrofit. In addition, the main power resistor on the motherboard has also been replaced to ensure long life and the power cord has been replaced.
* Brand New Control Panel Overlays! - Both control panels have been disassembled, cleaned, and have had brand new silkscreened reproduction overlays installed. The results are the best looking control panels seen on Atari Football since 1978!
* Fantastic Original Art! - The original side art and inner monitor bezel artwork are in fantastic shape! Side art is clean and free of flaws, almost unheard of for decal artwork that's over 30 years old! The cardboard bezel under the glass is in fact and in fantastic shape, as well as the monitor glass itself. It all looks as good as it did back in the day!
* Shopped out control panels! - Trackballs were disassembled, cleaned, and thoroughly tested. All solder joints on optic boards were re-done and the trackball assemblies installed are original, and hardly used with no wear on the shafts and bearings whatsoever. Numerous games were played in testing periods of the game with no glitches or flaws in control found. Both original Atari start buttons also function perfectly, as do all LED lights on the play selection boards.
* All new lighting! - The control panel lights and coin door lights have been replaced with bright new bulbs.
* All new t-molding! - The black t-molding trim has been replaced across the entire cabinet!
* Totally cleaned insides! - The game has been cleaned of years of dust and garbage in the bottom like all our machines.
* New locks and keys installed. Working coin mechs and coin box included as well! Beware of other arcade game sellers that don't include these, or even worse, want to grossly overcharge you extra to include them! We include them with all the games we sell!
