Monitors are probably the most common problem that we come across in our On-Site Repair appointments as well as games that we get in to prepare into our Professionally Refurbished Arcade Video Games. Over time, the capacitors on the main monitor boards dry up and/or leak, causing problems with picture size and colors and even causing total monitor failure. In some cases, the main high voltage unit, the flyback, will literally blow apart, killing the monitor. Other problems such as bad controls or cracks in the solder joints will also occur.

The good news is that these classic monitor chassis are, in most cases, able to be totally rebuilt and look and work like new once they are. The most common of the older monitors, once properly rebuilt, are often more reliable than the modern day monitors have proven to be.

Since there seem to be more of the older monitors out there than the newer styles, Hyperspace Arcade Services has decided to offer up some monitor chassis for these most common "old school" monitors. Each chassis will be rebuilt with all the most common failure items replaced or repaired on each of them and warrantied for 90 days.

If you have an older monitor that you still wish to use due to lack of screen burn or desire to keep it original, here's your place! Hyperspace Arcade is launching this section at the present time as a marketing experiment. If sales and demand are there, we will expand this section in the future to include more makes and models of monitor chassis and parts.
